Ingredients
4 large eggs, with yolks and whites separated into two bowls
1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar to help stabilize the egg whites
2 ounces of reduced-fat cream cheese, softened for easier mixing
1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning (a blend of oregano, thyme, basil, etc.)
1/2 teaspoon of fine sea salt for balanced flavor
Between 1/4 and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, depending on how bold you like it
Instructions

Start by preheating your oven to 300°F (150°C). Separate the eggs, placing the whites in one large bowl and the yolks in another. Add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and whip using a hand mixer until stiff peaks form — about 3 to 5 minutes. In the second bowl, combine the yolks with the cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and garlic powder, mixing until smooth. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites with a spatula, being careful not to deflate the mixture. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spoon the batter into 6 evenly spaced rounds. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until lightly golden on top. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
These can be frozen with parchment paper between each piece.
